Explanation:

The spread of Christianity was an important reason for people to move to these colonies. The land gained was a part of the European country and as such, the European countries would take the raw materials for their benefit. Europeans, after the scientific revolution, were often more advanced with technology and weapons, leading to their dominance in the colony. Often crops were brought back to Europe and introduced there successfully. In doing so they disrupted the society as people lost their land, culture, language, resources, social hierarchy and community.
