Since the y-intercept is (0,3), the second part of the equation of slope (y = mx+b) will be +3. There are three ways to find the slope. Just look at the graph and see how much y increases for every time x increases is the first way. Another way is to find two points that have WHOLE numbers. now count the distance of y between them and the distance of x between them. Now put y over x (y/x). The last way is y1-y2/x1-x2, where you choose to straight points and subtract the y from the other y and the x from the other x, then put y over x. Now we can put the whole equation together to get y = 3/2x +3. or y = 1 and 1/2x+3 (its usually an improper fraction though). Hope this wasn't confusing and helped.
