Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) refers to the means of settling disputes among parties among themselves. It consists of a wide range of dispute resolution processes and techniques that provides a solution for the issue at hand.
An alternate dispute resolution procedure that parties can engage in to reach a voluntary settlement is mediation. In this process, there is a mediator who would be the middleman for the two warring parties and help them resolve the issue. This will also help reach a voluntary settlement without the need for the courts to be involved.
