The Berlin Wall was built by East German troops and engineers on August 13, 1961. The wall was built to keep west Germans out, but it was built to keep eastern Germans in. Many eastern Germans were fleeing to the west because they felt that Western Germany better represented their ideals, political ideas, and culture. Hopefully this helped!

Latitude refers to vertical radial distance from the equator, and longitude refers to horizontal radial distance from the prime meridian whose location was decided arbitrarily. To add to their income, farmers in India may "sell land to other farmers" since this can be a very profitable exercise that doesn't do much to decrease productivity of the primary farm.
