I think that the most accurate one is trial 3 since it is the least incorrect and closest percent-wise to the actual correct density of the metal.
Hope this helps!

Jason spends 3 1/12 hours biking and 2 1/3 hours at the mall. How much less time does Jason spend at the mall compared to biking
aleksley [76]

We must find the difference between 3 1/12 and 2 1/3. So we can first subtract 3 from 2 and we earn 1 whole number. Next we must subtract  1/12 and 1/3. This is the same as 3/36-12/36, which is -9/36 or -1/4. Since we can't have -1/4 we must subtract 1/4 from 1 and earn 3/4 as our answer.

Hope this helps! <3

Two brothers each purchase a new pair of hiking boots and two canteens. The hiking boots cost 34.00 each. The total of their pur
polet [3.4K]

Answer:

The cost of one canteen is $7.5

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given the following in the question:

Each brother purchase a new par of boots and two canteens.

Cost of one hiking boots = $34.00

Total cost of hiking boots =

=34\times 2\\=\$68.00

Let x dollars be the cost of one canteen.

Number of canteens bought by both brother = 4

Total bill = $98.00

Thus, we can write the equation:

68 + 4x = 98

Solving the equation, we get,

68 + 4x = 98\\4x = 98-68\\4x = 30\\x = 7.5

Thus, the cost of one canteen is $7.5
