Contaminated water can be caused by natural chemicals and minerals like radon, uranium, etc. Contaminated water could also be caused like wastewater releases or sewers overflowing. Some infectious agents involved in the related diseases would be bacteria, viruses, helminths and even protozoa. These diseases can spread through drinking the water, airborne, or just contact with the water or infectious agents.
