When I found out that I had problems being born. I was not going to survive but then my mum and dad prayed and prayed, and I ended up surviving.

I even have a book where the nurse wrote in it, my family, my doctors and everything. I can't write a lot as some is very personal, but yeah.

That's my story

In which passage is it clearest that the author is using diction to achieve some kind of effect?
Reptile [31]

I think the correct answer is: B) The bride floated down the aisle to her awaiting love.

First of all, diction is the writer's choice of words. By choosing the words, the author defines the mood and the style of writing. This can be the difference between a great writer or an average one, between capturinf the readers attention or not.

In the options given, the B seems like a sentence that was well thought by the writer as he uses profound words that evoke a certain feeling, in this case it could be love. The use of the word "floated" gives us a clue on how the bride was feeling, she didn't just walk. The rest of the options only describe mere actions without giving them a deeper meaning.

Severe because the others don’t make much sense, also profound can mean “very great, or intense”
