Ok so she wants but 5 crates of apples. And each crate cost 12.50 so you would multi 12.50 times 5, which is 62.05. She so wants to buy one crate of pears. One crate of pairs is 18.75. Since she is only buying one you don't need to multiply it but anything. But now you have to figure out the cost of the apples and pears together. So just add 62.05 and 18.75 together which is 80.80

Billy makes $5 a week in allowance plus $4 for each lawn that he mows.
Ad libitum [116K]

Answer:

$15 < $4n + $5

Step-by-step explanation:

We know that Billy needs to make more than $15 between his allowance and the lawns that he mows. This means our inequality should include $15<. Also, since Billy will make $4 per lawn, that means we need to multiply $4 by the number of lawns he needs to mow, n: $4n. So far we have the following: $15<$4n. Next, we know that he makes $5 each week, on top of what he makes mowing each law. This means we need to add the $5 to the $4n. When we put all of these pieces together, we will get the following inequality: $15<$4n+$5

A student has passed 60 percent of the 20 quizzes he has written so far successfully. If the student writes 50 quizzes during th
NikAS [45]

60% of 20 quizzes = 60/100*20 quizzes = 12 quizzes

Amount of quizzes remaining = 50 quizzes - 20 quizzes = 30 quizzes

He passes 80% of those 30 quizzes, so

80/100 * 30 quizzes = 24 quizzes

So, he passed 12 quizzes from the initial bunch and 24 quizzes from the rest, which totals to 12 quizzes + 24 quizzes = 36 quizzes.

Then, you see that he passed 36 quizzes, out of the total 50 quizzes, so the ratio is 36 quizzes / 50 quizzes = 36/50, which when converted as a percentage is 36/50 * 100% = 72%.

Therefore, he passed 72% of the quizzes for the entire year.
