Answer:

It is tomato plant

Step-by-step explanation:

- The independent variable is the variable the experimenter changes or controls and is assumed to have a direct effect on the dependent variable. - - - The dependent variable is the variable being tested and measured in an experiment, and is 'dependent' on the independent variable.

Conditional Statement: if p then q The converse form of a conditional statement is when: O p and q are switched, and both negate
nordsb [41]
<h3>2 Answers: </h3>

B)  p and the q are switched

C) Neither p or q is negated

========================================================

Explanation:

The original conditional "if P, then Q" has P and Q swap places to form the converse. So the converse would be "if Q, then P". We don't negate P, and we don't negate Q either.

Here is the full list

  • Original = If P, then Q
  • Converse = If Q, then P
  • Inverse = If not P, then not Q
  • Contrapositive = If not Q, then not P

Side notes:

  • The original and contrapositive are equivalent in truth value.
  • The converse and inverse are equivalent in truth value.

The product of two integers is about 50 less than one of the integers. Explain your answer. Think of three or more possible pair
Savatey [412]
An integer is a whole number and the product of numbers means to multiply them. So so we know that:
x * y = x - 50

So the product (x * y) is 50 less than one of the integers ( x - 50)

I can divide both sides by x:
y = (x - 50) / x where x is not zero
y = x/x - 50/x
y = 1 - 50/ x

x can no longer be zero since you cannot divide by zero

the only way for y to be a whole number is if 50/x is a whole number. 50/x can onky be a whole number if x is a factor of 50. so take any factor of 50 and that will be possible answers.
factors of 50: 1,2,5,10,25,50

these would be possible x values. To to find corresponding y values plug in x
y = 1 - 50/1
y = 1 - 50
y = -49
So first pair is (1, -49)
do the same for the rest and get
(2, -24)
(5, -9)
(10, -4)
(25, -1)
(50, 0)

Solve this equation. <br> Leave the answer as an improper fraction. <br> 3x^2 + 2 = 11 - x^2
Nikolay [14]

Answer:

x = \frac{3}{2}orx=-\frac{3}{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

The given Equation is

3x^{2} + 2 = 11-x^{2}   .................(i)

Adding ( x^{2} -11 ) on both sides of  (i)

3x^{2}+2+x^{2}-11 = 11-x^{2}+x^{2}-11

solving and cancelling out the terms will give

⇒ 4x^{2} -9=0

⇒ (2x)^{2} -(3)^{2} = 0     ...................(ii)

Now we Know that

(a)^{2} -(b)^{2} = (a-b)(a+b)

Applying this on equation (ii)

(2x-3)(2x+3)=0

This will lead us to

Either 2x-3 =0    .......(iii)        or     2x+3=0   ..........(iv)

Solving equation (iii) for value of x

2x - 3 =0

adding 3 on both sides

2x -3 +3 = 0+ 3

2x = 3

Cross multiplying gives

x=\frac{3}{2}

Solving equation (iv) for value of x

2x + 3 =0

adding -3 on both sides

2x -3 +3 = 0- 3

2x = -3

Cross multiplying gives

x=\frac{-3}{2}

so x=\frac{3}{2} and x=\frac{-3}{2}
