Political parties are legally formed groups oriented to occupy political power. The power of each party is related to the number of elected candidates it possesses. Just as popularity is associated with the number of voters the party can muster. Power and popularity change over time according to their trajectories. The way parties are aligned with their electoral principles and commitments.
Voting is your civic duty.” This is a pretty common sentiment, especially each November as Election Day approaches. But what does it really mean? And what does it mean for Americans in particular
I’ll give you a few to choose from:
-There were plenty of jobs (but low-paying) in America
-Gold Rush
-America had an open door policy (at least until the immigration act)
-Social mobility was possible (unlike restrictive social classes in England)
Those that describe the effects of scarcity are:
- B<span>usinesses can only make a limited number of goods and services.
- </span><span>Not everyone's needs are met.
- Using scarce resources today means having fewer tomorrow.
Having scarcer materials does not mean that people have limited wants, but that people get less of what they want. </span>
