Pls tell me how to do it.
kkurt [141]
Lets get started :)

The ratio of juice is as follows:
orange : mango : apple
      3     :      5     :    4
                    ↑
              35 bottles

5x = 35

\frac{5x}{5} = \frac{35}{5}
5 and 5 cancels out
x = 7

3x + 5x + 4x = total
Subsitute the value you go for x, x = 7
3(7) + 5(7) + 4(7) = total
21 + 35 + 28 = 84

Total of 84 bottles of juices :)
Your final answer will be option D

What is the difference between a formal and an informal proof?
Nutka1998 [239]
 <span>informal proofs are usually in paragraph form, while formal proofs are numbered, like this:
Given: a=b, b=c
Prove: a=c
1. a=b, b=c 1. Given
2. a=c 2. transitive property
the first line is usually the given, the middle lines are statements which help you get to your proof, and the last line is your proven statement. next to your statements, you have to give reasons why the statement is true, like a=c is proven because of the transitive property</span>

Graph the equations to solve the system. <br> y=3x+3<br> 1/3y+x+1
riadik2000 [5.3K]

Given equation is y=3x+3 and \frac{1}{3}y=x+1

Let's simplify the 2nd equation \frac{1}{3}y=x+1 before we can start graph so that calculation will be easy

\frac{1}{3}y=x+1

multiply both sides by 3 to cancel out fractions

3*\frac{1}{3}y=3*x+3*1

y=3x+3

which is exactly same as the first equation so graph of both will be exactly same and solution will be infinitely many solutions.

y=3x+3 has y-intercept 3 so first point will be (0,3). Slope is 3 so rise 3 unit up then 1 right and graph the new point.
