What types of (realistic) action needs to be taken in order to better help the environment

Big corporations make the biggest impact on climate change. Setting stricter boundaries for big corporations and how they run their businesses is the key factor to lower carbon emissions. That being said, considering our capitalistic system, that goal is unrealistic to achieve in short amount of time. What we as individuals can do is lower the amount of trash we make, switch to a diet with less meat, recycle, etc.
