What is the probability of producing a roan (red and white) cow when a white cow is crossed with a red cow?

Biology

Answer:

A cross between a roan bull (<em>Ww</em>) and a white cow (<em>ww</em>) produces roan and white phenotypes in a 1:1 ratio.

Explanation:

Two alleles are influencing the color of the hair of the cow-W red and w white.

These alleles show that a hybrid Ww has red hair. The genotype of the bull is <em>Ww</em>, <em>WW </em>is red and <em>ww </em>is white. So, mixing the red and white cows is 1:1.

What would happen if our cells would not get oxygen?
n200080 [17]
The cell uses oxygen in the mitochondria which produces energy, without it the mitochondria makes lactic acid. Lactic acid affects muscles, and causes muscle soreness. That is if the cell is lacking oxygen, if it didn't get oxygen at all i would think that the affects on the body would be more severe.

What would happen to the size of the carnivore population if the herbivore population increased?
Aleks [24]
The carnivore population would also increase because there would be a larger food-source for carnivorous so more of them would be able to survive.
The carnivore population would go up as well because they have more food (herbivores) to eat. There would be more food to sustain the carnivore population.
