What pre-condition had to be accomplished on the iberian peninsula before portugal and spain could unify internally as nations?
natulia [17]
The correct answer: Break Islamic rule

The pre-condition which had to be accomplished on the iberian peninsula before portugal and spain could unify internally as nations is to break Islamic rule. It is so because most of the iberian is controlled by the Moors, an Islamic people who conquered most of Spain and Portugal. Without the Moors removed, the rulers of both Spain and Portugal are nothing more than usurpers to power, guerillas if you will.

How did the peace treaties both follow and violate the principle of self-determination
stiks02 [169]

Answer: self-determination was placed in only for Europe, and not in the outer territories and this came to be known as the system of mandates.

Explanation: The system of mandates led to freeing some of the colonies under German control only for them to be put under control of the allies such as England and France.

Self-determination is a political principle an is the process by which a group of people form their own state and choose their own government. In World War I the Allies accepted self-determination as a peace aim.

In Eastern Europe, when the German, Austrian, and Russian empires fell, many nations emerged and this self-determination led to the creation of many nations such as Czechoslovakia, Poland, the Baltic states, and Yugoslavia. However, by creating mandates outside Europe, the treaties ignored non-European peoples' right to self determination.

HELPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sveta_85 [38]

My classmates and i traveled from the east coast of Yorkshire to the small island of Haiti to see the culture and life during a period of exploration and domination. We were astonished to see the way European colonizers maintained control in a foreign land and children bred by those captured and those capturing right alongside them playing roles that if butlers and nannies to there sibling not born out of wedlock. during the exploration we saw very gruesome beatings dealt by master to those whom inhabited the land prior to the captures. this seemed to be a land of great sorrow and desperation dealt by those who do not belong.

I hope this helps!
