Answer:

x 1 = -3

x2 = -3

y1 = 0

y2 = 5

The slope of that equation is infinite and the equation is a perfectly vertical line at x = -3.

So, the equation is x = -3.

Given parameters:

The coordinates of points on the line;

  (x, y) = (-3,0) and (x, y) = (-3, 5)

Unknown;

The equation of the line = ?

The equation of a line is usually expressed in the form y = mx + c

  Where;

     y and x are the coordinates

      m is the slope

      c is the y-intercept

Now we need to first find the slope of the line.

    Slope  = \frac{y_{2}  - y_{1} }{x_{2} - x_{1} }

       (x₁, y₁) = (-3,0) and (x₂, y₂) = (-3, 5)

Input the parameters and solve;

     Slope = \frac{5 - 0}{-3 -(-3)}   = infinity

The line has an infinite slope.

The equation of the line is therefore x  = c

         x  = -3

Determine which postulate or theorem can be used to prove that ABC=DCB
lianna [129]

Answer with explanation:

In Δ ABC and ΔD BC

∠A=∠D-------Given

∠ABC=∠DCB-------Each being 90° given in the Diagram.

Side, BC is Common.

⇒⇒Δ ABC ≅ ΔD BC-------[AAS]

When two triangles are congruent , their areas are equal.

So, Area(ABC)=Area (DCB)

Option B :⇒ A AS
