Answer:

A. Football hooliganism and juvenile delinquency both involve illegal, sometimes very dangerous, actions.

Explanation:

In the CommonLit informational text "Football Hooliganism", the issues of these illegal and disturbing public acts of violence is described. It described <em>"football hooliganism" </em>as <em>"unruly, violent, and destructive behavior of overzealous supporters of soccer clubs." </em>

Moreover, a comparison is made between football hooliganism and juvenile delinquency. This comparison projects how both actions have some factors in common, such as<em> "a person's need for group identity . . . feelings of legitimacy, and a desire for power." </em>

Therefore, the best statement that describes the relationship between these two violent actions is that they both are illegal activities that sometimes become very dangerous.

Thus, <u>the correct answer is option A. </u>

Read to excerpt from ""Healthy Eating"" Which statement best describes the authors argument in this part of article?
choli [55]

Complete Question:

Read the excerpt from "Healthy Eating."

If anything gets in the way of our good eating, it's lifestyle. When you get home from work late, why spend an hour in front of the stove when you can spend two minutes at the microwave? And doesn't that oatmeal box claim to be a good source of calcium for our kids, never mind the small print listing 14 grams of sugar?

Which statement best describes the author's argument in this part of the article?

Answer:

Living a busy life affects healthy eating

Explanation:

The author argues that going through an easier way of doing things ( especially meal preparation) promotes healthy eating. The author discourages a busy cooking habit that can affect timeliness in taking meals. This is evident from the statement, " When you get home from work late, why spend an hour in front of the stove when you can spend two minutes at the microwave?"

Simple essay about meeting someone that is now my friend
Kryger [21]

In a world that is shrinking because of the use of technology, people often find it difficult to meet new friends. But, somehow, someway, I found a friend.

It all started when we were just nothing but classmates at school.

We began to do simple favors like picking up her/his pencil, asking them the answer for a question, working in a project that we were both assigned as a group to work on it. Since then, we started off as strangers to classmates, and to best friends. People could tell that we were best friends by the way we acted around each other. I met a lot of great people, some of them are now my best friends. Not only that, but I also started making friends online. You are sure to find at least one person who matches your interests, and it is often a lot easier to approach these persons if you are shy by nature in the real world.

I give up, I feel like this essay is going no where. To be honest, I HAVE NO FRIENDS.
