There have been several controversial Supreme Court decisions in the past 50 years that many people believe should be overturned
Naily [24]

Massachusetts v. Environmental Protection Agency could be overturned through the subsequent Supreme ruling.

Massachusetts v. Environmental Protection Agency was a legal case in 2007. In this case, multiple cities and states including Massachusetts sued the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to force it to regulate the emission of pollutants.

Unexpectedly, EPA rejected the petition to control the emission of pollutants but the Supreme Court decided Massachusetts and the other petitioners had the right to sue EPA and that EPA needed to control the emission of pollutants including carbon dioxide.

This decision was quite controversial because 5 out of 9 justices approved it and many did not agree EPA had to control the emission of some pollutants. Because of this, the decision could be overturned through subsequent Supreme Court ruling that is the most common way to overturned previous decisions by the court that do not relate to the nation's fundamental law but specific laws.

Describe any symbolism( this can include labelling, exaggeration, irony or analogies)?
timofeeve [1]

Answer:

Irony, labelling, exaggeration

Explanation:

  • Labelling, or labeling, is defined as the process of attaching a descriptive word or phrase to someone or something. An example of labelling is the process of putting signs on jars that say what is inside. An example of labelling is calling everyone from Oklahoma an "Oakie."
  • Exaggeration is a term for a figure of speech. It means the describing of something and making it more than it really is. ... A hyperbole is a type of exaggeration that is used in literature. It is a figure of speech. The opposite of hyperbole is hypobole, which is an understatement.
  • The definition of irony as a literary device is a situation in which there is a contrast between expectation and reality. For example, the difference between what something appears to mean versus its literal meaning.

How are prices determined in a pure-market economy?
lara [203]
The relationship of demand and supply determines market prices. A balance of demand and supply factors determines an equilibrium price. When demand or supply, or both, shifts or moves, the equilibrium price changes.
