When i meet someone for the first time i introduce myself “hi my name is .... nice to meet you” and if they speak a different language i simply use common hand gestures they would understand such as a wave and smile

The thing that happens when you meet someone is how it starts by hi, how are you, what is your name, I like that, what do you like to do, thank you, lets talk again sometime, and bye. I usually greet people with a smile and give them my full attention by making face to face eye contact. If a person doesn't speak my language I will smile and tell them I do not speak their language, and if they do not understand me I will wave and leave.
