Child labor is most prominent in what area of the world?
taurus [48]
I agree with the person above - in B. Southeast Asia, child labor is the most prominent.
In countries such as Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar, etc., child labor is almost a 'normal' thing - often, children are abused and made to work long hours in 'sweatshops' only to create something which will be sold at a low price, whereas they will be paid next to nothing.

Which of the following is a true statement regarding frontiers?
Naddik [55]

The answer is A. Maps establishing European frontiers only began to appear in the 18th century. With the emergence of territorial states in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries borders began to be discussed in the context of state ideology. Different topographical features, not only rivers,  but mountains and manmade landmarks such as fortresses, etc. began to serve as borders.

In the sixteenth century there was a noticeable change in connection with the depiction of political borders on maps. But with the improvement of measurement techniques in the eighteenth century, the concept of "border" acquired linear form. Linearity expressed frontiers.

Why do you think African societies placed such high importance on art?
Minchanka [31]

Answer:

African art has as its main influence religion, functionalism and utilitarianism. Depending on the region, one of these influences may be stronger than the other, sub-Saharan Africa, for example, the art that is most influenced by religion, probably because of the social and economic difficulties they face, which make artists connect more with religion as a way of supporting national problems. The areas where these problems are not so prominent, usually have greater influences on utilitarianism and functionalism, probably because artists have more access to concepts, techniques and information.

African societies place a lot of importance on art because it is a way of externalizing feelings and promoting criticism. This is very strong in this region that was so scrapped and exploited by other nations that it caused problems that can still be seen today in these societies.
