butalik [34]

Answer:

The three behaviors I would measure as intolerable would be, theft, murder, and assault.

Explanation:

The reason these actions are considered criminal is, they violate natural law, in order to deal with these infractions, I’d imprison the perpetrators, offering a rehabilitation system, rather than committing such crimes against them. If you stoop to their level you’re no greater than them.

What is the poem "Alone" by Maya Angelou about?

This poem describes the struggle from the author regarding solitude, from the first verses of the poem the author reflects on how fill fullfilment in solitude as it is expressed in "Lying, thinking. Last night, How to find my soul a home", which suggests one should always be with others.

Moreover, the author develops this idea by comparing power with money and she concludes togetherness is still the best way.

Why is this poem interesting?

This poem deals with unique themes such as loneliness vs union, which are not developed in other poems.

Why would I read this poem?

A balance is needed between being alone and being with ohters and understanding the limit of these elements is key.
