Antibiotic resistance happens when germs like bacteria and fungi develop the ability to defeat the drugs designed to kill them. That means the germs are not killed and continue to grow. Infections caused by antibiotic-resistant germs are difficult, and sometimes impossible, to treat. Tell me if it’s right:)

The bacteria over time has built up a tolerance over the antibiotic , when this happens people usually make a different antibiotic that could be more affective for example how a person gets sore when they workout that muscle is building a tolerance to the stress you put it though therefore it grows

Predict the outcomes of a plant with 6 diploid chromosomes that fertilized a similar plant in which the egg failed to undergo me
Evgen [1.6K]

Answer:

The correct answer would be - triploid plant.

Explanation:

Triploidy is a condition which can be defined as the 3 set of chromosome in an organism, the extra set of chromosome may be come from the maternal organism or the paternal derived. Maternal derived triploidy known as the digynic while in in the case of the paternal derived called diandric.

In this case the sperm goes under the meiosis so the each gamete will have one chromosome of each set (I I I) while the egg failed to undergo meiosis so the gamete carry complete set of chromosome ( II II II ) after fertilization the outcome will be Digynic triploidy (III III III).

Thus, the correct answer would be - triploid plant.

In the video, you saw how plants adapt themselves in extreme climates. Do you think research on inhospitable plants can help bot
Dmitry_Shevchenko [17]

Answer:Plants have adaptations to help them survive (live and grow) in different areas. Adaptations are special features that allow a plant or animal to live in a particular place or habitat. These adaptations might make it very difficult for the plant to survive in a different place. This explains why certain plants are found in one area, but not in another. For example, you wouldn't see a cactus living in the Arctic. Nor would you see lots of really tall trees living in grasslands.
