This painting is by Mary Cassat. She chose to use oil paints. When Cassat chose to use oil paints, she most likely considered that oil paints are slow drying which can make them difficult to work with, but can also allow got mixing and blending of colors to created various affects. She also would have considered that oil paints are long-lasting and retain their vibrancy over time.

Alenkinab [10]

I will go with b. Noble Savage.  This is all about rebellion in put in a situation you don’t want to be in.  Both Crusoe and Satan were put in their own isolation.  Each reacts to his situation in his own way.  Satan retaliates by tempting Adam and Eve and Crusoe is striving to survive in the environment he finds himself in.

Select whether the following word pairs are synonyms or antonyms.
Yuliya22 [10]
Bite - nip and rapid -fast are synonyms while the rest are antonyms. Bite and nip are synonyms because it is the same action described differently. The same is for rapid and fast. Being innocent means to not have done anything but being guilty is having done something. For example, two people are in a court and the judge is deciding who the criminal is, the person who did nothing wrong is innocent and the person who committed the crime is guilty. Insult and compliment are antonyms because they mean two different things. An insult is rude while a compliment is kind. Pass and fail is pretty obvious as well as permanent and temporary. They are opposites of each other, therefore are antonyms.
