Today, technology has given a large number of young people, the opportunity to stay connected, learn new things, and have better experiences.

Studies show that ninety three percent of teens use the internet as a way to interact with others or share online creations. This shows how a substantial amount of young people use technology as a positive outlet. Although, about sixteen percent of teens report being cyber bullied, most use technology as a way to reach faraway family members or make new friends. Many youth in our generation have become more outspoken as a result of technology. For example, people may use the internet to spread awareness or share their opinions on social issues that are very emotional, controversial, and contemporary. Such as: climate change, Black Lives Matter/police brutality, gender equality, etc.
