One point of view is that immigration is a bad thing because jobs are being handed out to people who aren't even US born citizens. The opposing side says immigration is good because America is the land of freedom and equality for <em>everyone,</em> and even immigrants should get a chance at the pursuit of happiness.
The nobility, such as the barons, would be the ones responsible for ruling different regions of the country
