A = 4 1/2 inches
B = 3 3/4 inches
C = 5 1/8 inches

How much cable did he use to make A and B was the question, right?

4 1/2 + 3 3/4
= 4 2/4 + 3 3/4
= 7 5/4
= 8 1/4 inches used to make A and B

Describe the effect an increase in i, the interest rate applied to the present value, has on the monthly payment P in the formul
VARVARA [1.3K]

Answer:

B. An increase in i, the interest rate, will create an increase in P, the monthly payment.

Step-by-step explanation:

We have the formula for the monthly payment as,

P=\frac{i \times PV}{1-(1+i)^{-n} },

where P = monthly payment, i = rate of interest, PV = present value and n = time period.

Now, as i increase we get that (1+i) increases and so (1+i)^{n} increases.

This gives us that, \frac{1}{(1+i)^{n} } decreases and so 1-\frac{1}{(1+i)^{n}} decreases

Therefore, \frac{1}{1-(1+i)^{-n} } increases.

So, we get that as i increases , the value of P will increase.

Hence, option B is correct.

First of all, you would use the FOIL method for -5(a + 3). This means to just multiply -5 to all of the values in the parenthesis. This would equal:

-5a -15 = -55

Then after, you would add 15 for both sides and get -5a = -40

Divide by -5 on both sides, you get a = 8.

Someone please help.

Answer:

<h2>174ft²</h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of a Rectangle = L x W

L = 8

W = 6.5

Area of a Rectangle = 8 x 6.5 = 52

Surface Area = Area of a Rectangle x Number of Rectangles

Surface Area = 52 x 2 = 104

Area of a Rectangle = L x W

L = 8

W = 5

Area of a Rectangle = 8 x 5 = 40

Surface Area = Area of a Rectangle x Number of Rectangles

Surface Area = 40 x 1 = 40

Area of a Triangle = B x H x 1/2

B = 5

H= 6

Area of a Triangle  = 5 x 6 x 1/2 = 15

Surface Area = Area of a Triangle x Number of Triangles

Surface Area = 15 x 2 = 30

Surface Area = Sum of Surface Areas =

104 + 40 + 30 = 174ft²
