He slowly begins to become depressed and he considers these emotions as "feminine" and he continues to act like a real adult and let then fall deep down. This all gets worse after he returns to the village and now missionaries are there trying to convert the religion of the people and they are succeeding to do so. () just now arriving to the land and seeing this tries to rebel against them and ends up only burning a church. This relives () for a moment, but it all gets worse from here. Now that the white men are angry with () he is feeling even more out of the group and forgotten and now he just wants it all to end. He waits a while before this to see if it will lighten but his home and kingdom is slowly being taken over and he feels he has no control over it. This eventually leads to him killing himself.
