Write a short speech describing a war you think was necessary or a war you think was unjustified. Imagine that your audience is

either your fellow classmates or a group of war veterans, but keep in mind how your speech will differ based on the audience. Create a logical introduction, body, and conclusion to your speech. If you are having trouble, try brainstorming, outlining, and revising your drafts.

War was unjustified to war veterans..
so war is pretty a common thing in the present day politics and countries spend huge amount of money on their defence, army etc.
so many of these war are fought for a reason and many may be unjustified like the one fought in .... so the war for ...... however it could have been solved with a more diplomatic approach, war is more of an aggressive way of approach..
war causes quite some loses as well because of course it harms the countries engaged in terms of moral, they lose men and tonnes of other reasons..
with this lets sign off..

hope it helped..

A speech to a group of war veterans about a war that I believe was necessary:

My fellow Americans! I welcome you. We are gathered here because we have all lost something during these terrible years, and I believe it is necessary to honour it.

I am sure we can all remember how we felt at the beginning of the war. We thought that the war was necessary in order for our country to remain strong and for our families to remain free. I am sure that these concerns were part of the reason you enlisted.

Now that the war has passed, I know that we will never be the same. Our brave soldiers, you and your comrades, have experienced so much pain and so much loss. Our country has been greatly transformed because of it. However, we need to be grateful about the fact that our country still stands, and that we emerged victorious from this great tragedy. We are stronger than ever, and our future is brighter than ever before.

To finish off, my fellow Americans, I would like to remind you that your sacrifice was not in vain. Americans everywhere are grateful for your service, and for the promise of a tomorrow that you built. We will never forget you, nor will we forget how much we owe you. Thank you.

Cite textual evidence to support this analysis of the connection. Question 4 options: He says that he chooses “to believe that t
Sidana [21]

He mentions that America wrote a bad check for freedom to African Americans, but he states that he “refuses to believe that the bank of justice is bankrupt.” He also states, “We’ve come to cash this check… of freedom and security of justice.”

Let's just walk through each option.

Option 1: He says that he chooses “to believe that there are insufficient funds in the great vaults of opportunity of this nation,” so it shows that he has given up hope. - This is simply not true. MLK has not given up hope. In fact, he has hope that people listening to this speech will help to create change and allow all people of all backgrounds to have equal opportunities.

Option 2: He states, “so we’ve come to cash this check, a check that will give us upon demand the riches” of the nation for everyone. This proves that he wants government money to be equally shared. - This is also a completely wrong interpretation of the text. The check is symbolic of a promise America made to African Americans. It really has nothing to do with actual currency being handed over.

Option 3: MLK explains that America should give African Americans “a bad check, a check that has come back marked ‘insufficient funds.’” - This is also incorrect. He doesn't want America to give African Americans anything bad. This includes a bad check, or promise.

Option 4: He mentions that America wrote a bad check for freedom to African Americans, but he states that he “refuses to believe that the bank of justice is bankrupt.” He also states, “We’ve come to cash this check… of freedom and security of justice.” - This one is correct. He is saying that America has not lived up to their promises of equality, but hope is not lost. America can still bring about justice and change to make sure that everyone has equal opportunities no matter their race.

1. What can you infer from this dialogue from the diary of anne frank, act 1?
Elodia [21]

1. Anne is outgoing, Peter is shy.

In the dialogue Anne invites Peter but Peter says he's a lone wolf. This shows that Anne wants to be around others, while Peter prefers to stay by himself because of his shy nature.

2. "I've got to fight the things out for myself!"

In this piece of dialogue, Anne is showing that she is still trying to figure out the world on her own and make her own decisions. She does not want someone intervening on her behalf.

3. "I spend half my night shushing her."

It is clear from this piece of dialogue that Mr. Dussel is becoming frustrated with the idea that he has to stay up at night and shows the conflict between them growing.

4. Anne states will go to Paris or be a famous dancer and the audience knows she will not get a chance to do these things.

Dramatic irony is when the audience knows something the characters on stage do not. In this case, the audience knows that Anne will not survive the Holocaust and therefore not be able to go to Paris or become a dancer.

5. Unbearable

Peter is a quiet observant child. He is not hurtful or purposefully unfriendly. He can be unbearable in Anne's opinion sometimes.
