Answer:

There is a difference between literacy and reading. Literacy does not mean teaching children to read. Every voracious reader is literate as one needs to know how to read in order to read avidly. However, not every literate person may love reading.

The argument that earbuds decrease the need for live music is an example of which logical fallacy?
GenaCL600 [577]

Answer:

C). False Causation.

Explanation:

<u>'False Causation' is demonstrated as the logical fallacy(flaw in reasoning) in which a cause of a phenomenon is inappropriately identified</u>. In this fallacy, the relationship between the cause and effect is irrational which makes the argument flawed/false reasonably.

In the given argument, the cause('earbuds') is identified incorrectly for the effect('decrease in need for live music') which creates a confusion for the readers(as they are unable to relate the cause logically) and affects the credibility of the argument. Thus, <u>option C</u> is the correct answer.

"My vegetable love should grow/Vaster than empires and more slow" is an example of
Dimas [21]

I would say the correct answer is B. hyperbole.

Hyperbole is a figure of speech that authors use when they want to exaggerate things. So this 'vegetable love' cannot possibly grow larger than empires - the poem just wants to demonstrate the power and intensity of this love by using the figure of hyperbole. A paradox would include two completely opposite things, and <em>vast </em>and <em>slow </em>are not opposites.
