Solve the system of inequalities: a) .4x−1≤0 <br> 2.3x≥4.6
OleMash [197]

Answer:

(a) x \leq 2.5

(b) x \geq 2

Step-by-step explanation:

Solving (a):

0.4x - 1 \leq 0

Add 1 to both sides

0.4x - 1 + 1\leq 0 + 1

0.4x \leq 1

Solve for x

x \leq 1/0.4

x \leq 2.5

Solving (b):

2.3x \geq 4.6

Solve for x

x \geq 4.6/2.3

x \geq 2

Can someone please help answer. it’s due tomorrow
NeX [460]
Not sure if my picture answer make sense so, when you have a^2 and b^2 to find c^2 u add then and then square root it to get c. e.g 81^2 + 108^2 = 18225 then u square root it and get 135. when u are given the hypotenuse (which is always c^2) u take that away from the a^2/b^2 and square root. e.g 8^2-4^2 which is 48 which can’t be square rooted so just leave as root48
