Ok so you have 6x-20 it would be in the negatives so when you do that it stays negative because one negative stays as negative so you subtract -20 first then you multiply that by 6x which would give you negative 120 (-120

Answer:

Can not be determined

Step-by-step explanation:

regularly, you would +20 to both sides, but without a full =, you cant solve. If the equation is 6x-20=0, x would equal 3 2/6.

Hope this helps!

Original price is $56. Discount is 25%. what is the sales price
ella [17]

Answer:

Sale Price = $42 (answer). This means the cost of the item to you is $42. You will pay $42 for a item with original price of $56 when discounted 25%. In this example, if you buy an item at $56 with 25% discount, you will pay 56 - 14 = 42 dollars.

Can you solve this problem please
Afina-wow [57]

Answer:

k = 11

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the points are collinear then the slopes between consecutive points are equal.

Using the slope formula

m = \frac{y_{2}-y_{1}  }{x_{2}-x_{1}  }

with (x₁, y₁ ) = (5, 1) and (x₂, y₂ ) = (1, - 1)

m = \frac{-1-1}{1-5} = \frac{-2}{-4} = \frac{1}{2}

Repeat with another 2 points and equate to \frac{1}{2}

with (x₁, y₁ ) = (1, - 1) and (x₂, y₂ ) = (k, 4)

m = \frac{4+1}{k-1} , then

\frac{5}{k-1} = \frac{1}{2} ( cross- multiply )

k - 1 = 10 ( add 1 to both sides )

k = 11
