Answer:

Surface area: 44 ft² or 44 square feet

Volume: 18 ft³ or 18 cubic feet

Step-by-step explanation:

Volume:

V = whl

2 · 2 · 4.5

18

Surface area:

A = 2(wl + hl + hw)

2 · (2 · 4.5 + 2 · 4.5 + 2 · 2)

Answer:

Solution given;

l=4.5ft

b=2ft

h=2ft

now

volume=l*b*h=4.5*2*2=18ft³

is a required volume.

Now

total surface area =2(lb+lh+bh)

=2(4.5*2+4.5*2+2*2)=44ft²

is a total surface area.

VladimirAG [237]

Answer:

0.3902

Step-by-step explanation:

The question meets the criteria for the calculation of the confidence interval of a one sample proportion ;

Sample size, n = 27

Number of students with faster reaction time = 14

Phat = x / n = 14 / 27 = 0.6296

The confidence interval is calculated thus :

C. I = Phat ± Zcritical * √[p(1 - p)/n]

Zcritical at 99% = 2.576

C. I = 0.6296 ± 2.576 * √[0.6296(0.3704)/27]

C.I = 0.6296 ± 0.2394042

The lower boundary of C.I = 0.6296 - 0.2394042

Lower boundary = 0.3902

Answer:

x = 10, y = 0

Step-by-step explanation:

x + y = 10 ---> x = 10 - y

3x + 2y = 30

3 (10 - y) + 2y = 30

30 - 3y + 2y = 30

y = 0

x + 0 = 10

x = 10

Answer:

$10.45

Step-by-step explanation:

You need to add up the total price before the sale and after then subtract

18.95 + 7.99 = $26.94

8.99 + 7.50 = $16.49

Please help I don’t understand.... I will give brainliest to first and I will thank you!
Stolb23 [73]
To find the answer we can break the figure into two parts: a rectangle and a semi circle.

The perimeter of the rectangle:

(10+4)×2

=28 ft

The perimeter of the semi circle:

perimeter of a circle: 2×兀×radius

(The radius: 4/2)

We divide the perimeter by two as it is a semi circle,which is half the circumferece perimeter of a circle.

[2(3.14)(4/2)] / 2

=6.28 ft

We can then add up the numbers to find the answer, and remember that 4 cm is overlapped:

28+6.28-4

=30.28ft

Therefore the answer is 30.28ft.

Hope it helps!
