-3k + 4x - 6k - 7x

Since the variables are not all alike, we will seperate them into two equations based on the variables.

-3k + 6k

4x - 7x

Now find the answers to the equations.

-3k + 6k = 3k

4x - 7x = -3x

Since these answers are unlike variables, the answer to the problem is 3k - (-3x).

Hope this helps!

Considering the desired result of the hypothesis test, we the closest mean time to 1.5 hours, hence the correct option is:

C. 1.6 hrs

What should be the mean?

The closer the mean is to the sample mean, the less likely we are to reject the null hypothesis.

In this problem, the sample mean is of 1.5 hours, hence, the closest value, considering the absolute value of the difference, is of 1.6 hours, hence option C is correct.

Setler [38]
It makes sense to let the # of shirts sold be the variable dependent upon the unit cost per shirt.

Notice that the # sold declines as the price increases.

Thus, the slope of this line will be -.
