Type 2 diabetes is harder to treat as the symptoms can be easier to miss and appear more slowly, this may lead to people not getting treatment as they don’t know they have it. Whereas within people with type one diabetes the symptoms appear more quickly meaning treatment will be issued earlier. Type 2 diabetics have more forms of medication to control their diabetes than type one diabetics, type 2 diabetics have medication, exercise and diet as well as insulin injections. Type 2 diabetes can be harder to treat as it is mainly diet based to help you manage your symptoms however some people may not want to diet, type 2 diabetes is also something that we can give ourselves due, to poor diet. Some people with type 2 diabetes may not want to change their habits. Treating a type 2 diabetic is also more harder as their body may produce insulin but not be able to use it effectively meaning it could cause your kidneys to work overtime, insulin may be prescribed by to some people
