Answer:

c. He was present when his mother, Matata, was being taught how to  communicate.

Explanation:

The attempts to 'teach' language and help animals communicate with humans has been ongoing research and practical work of many linguistics and psychologists. Sue Savage-Rumbaugh is one of those psychologists who worked on teaching language and communication between animals and humans, specifically focusing on the bonobos.

Kanzi was an infant bonobo when Sue first began teaching lexigrams to Matata, Kanzi's adopted mother. But despite their attempts, Matata seemed to be incapable of learning or understanding anything. Taken back to another facility to be a breeder, Kanzi was left behind. After a couple of days, Sue noticed that Kanzi had absorbed whatever had been taught to his mother. This led Sue to focus on teaching Kanzi instead.

Thus, the correct answer is that Kanzi was present when his mother, Matata was being taught to communicate.

Answer:

Logos

Explanation:

The appeal exhibited by the excerpt is none which appeals to the logic and rationality of the audience. This can be seen in what Anthony said in quote "I speak not to disprove what Brutus spoke, But here I am to speak what I know". This can clearly e seen as an appeal to the audience reasoning ; awakening the audience senses of comparison between what he is about to say and what Brutus has said. He isn't appealing to the emotion of the audience, which could have meant pathos but their reasoning.

Please rephrase this
sergiy2304 [10]

The Seafarer is an Old English poem and is one of the famous Anglo-Saxon elegies found only in The Exeter Book.

The protagonist talks about his life that he spent sailing in the open ocean, the hardships he faced while on the sea, the beauty of nature, and his love for seafaring. He thanks, God and asks for the righteous path to heaven.

The poem does have ambivalent expressions wherein he is fascinated on one hand but terrified on the other. It is a very common feeling for human beings to feel so.

There are times when a person is excited to try something new or about an upcoming event but is scared that it might turn out to be a disaster. It is all based on human feelings and emotions wherein a person is attached to someone or something and has a fear of losing himself or the other. It is based on anxiety and love for oneself

Helen [10]
An audio recording would most likely convey the characters' actions during this scene with a change in each character's tone of voice.
It would be weird to actually read the directions, volume wouldn't do anything for their actions, and each character speaks their lines anyways, so this is a silly option.
