Answer:

Find the explanation below.

Explanation:

1. The picture of Sunny California which captured the interest and admiration of Edwin and his mother must have played a vital role in convincing Edwin's mum to support her husband's decision to move to California.

2. The story begins by describing the harsh living condition of the Edwin family caused by the dust and drought. When Edwin's father came home, he came with little money that could carry the family for just a month. Even though Ma Edwin initially rejected the idea of moving to California, the picture of Sunny California with a prosperous orange grove must have imprinted in her heart the idea that the living condition in California would be much better than the one they were presently experiencing. All these events in the story support the inference that the picture of sunny California inspired hope in the family that the living condition in California would be better.

PART A: How does the poet’s description of the weed contribute to the meaning of the poem?
katrin2010 [14]

Answer:

The answer of part A is letter A.

The answer of part B is letter B.

Explanation:

Because this poem is about the individuality and the freedom that comes with retaining one's own personal identity.  Julio Noboa  works with a metaphor, to imagine himself as a weed. And the weed will never be like the flowers, the weed, like himself, will be ugly, but able to reach places that the flowers would never be.

He claims that those who are like flowers are circumscribed by the rules of a constraining society. In the other hand, those, like himself, who are like weed, might be seen as ugly and smelly, however, they are singular individuals and they retain their own particularities and individual freedoms. They are society values free people. Living and making their own rules.

Read this passage: sitting, surrounded by the smell of too old potato peels Lucille Clifton, "miss rosie" The passage is an exam
tino4ka555 [31]
This lines could be seen as examples of sensory imaginary. More precisely it is connected to smell because of the potato and sight because of how this person is found "sitting, surrounded.." it might be said that the combination of these two images could give the reader a vision of what the writer is trying to convey.
