What is a good thesis statement for your argument on community service
Arada [10]

It depends on if you argue for or against it. For a thesis to being with community service maybe try something like:

Community service is something that can be very effective on our environment. The possibilities of a clean world can be achieved if more people were to band together and tackle issues such as littering and pollution. However, it seems that right now, many people are not so much for the cause or the effort in saving our planet.

My name is Ann [436]

Answer:

yes, but it is mostly a moral question

Explanation:

one of god's goal is to make us humans self sufficient, but if there are less people believing in god, then how do people explain how non-living things come together to create living things, or non-living things from absolutely nothing. I'm just saying that some questions are better left unanswered

Should the big three questions be considered while the reader is reading?
Semenov [28]

Answer:  The Three Big Questions strategy challenges readers to annotate in the margins by marking passages that answer the questions: "What surprised me?", "What did the author think I already knew?", and "What challenged, changed, or confirmed what I already knew?".

A pack of cinnamon scented pencils sells for $4.00. What is the sales tax if the total cost of the pencils is $4.32? ( 6th grade
emmainna [20.7K]
(x% * 4) + 4 = 4.32

Solve for 'x':

4x + 4 = 4.32

Subtract 4 to both sides:

4x = 0.32

Divide 4 to both sides:

x = 0.08

Multiply by 100:

0.08 * 100 = 8%

An easier way to do this is to find the percent increase.

First, subtract the two numbers.

4.32 - 4.00 = 0.32

Divide this to the original amount:

0.32 / 4.00 = 0.08

Multiply by 100:

0.08 * 100 = 8%

We basically did all the steps from our equation above.
