I could never understand how anyone could possibly care about homecoming court. There was a sort of apathy I had for it, in all honesty, I'd never seen it as anything but pretty privilege. Besides, nearly everyone who was ever elected was severely lacking personality, the perfidiousness of the whole election process was ridiculous anyways, they would always miscount the votes or someone would pay them to announce someone who hadn't even rightfully won.
