PLS PLS PLS ANSWER 5 AND 6 AND TELL ME THE CORRECT ANSWER AND HOW TO GET THE CORRECT ANSWER THANK. WHOEVER ANSWER THIS CORRECTLY
yuradex [85]
The answer to 5 is A. And the answer to #6 is B. Here is why: So the cost for 6 pens is $2.34. So, you want to find the unit rate. The unit rate basically, in this case, would be how much on pen costs. So to find how much one pen costs you would divide 6 into $2.34. That would give you .39¢. Now to find out how much 20 pencils would cost you would multiply .39¢ by 20. This would give you $7.80. Do you see it now? I hope this could be helpful!

Can someone please help
sveta [45]
Some of the problems are in scientific notation, which if you don't know how to do, I will try to explain, when you see for example 1 x 10^3, what it is saying is basically 1 x 10 x 10 x 10 so in that case 1,000, simple trick is to look at what ever number is in the top right, then add that many zeroes. So this is most likely supposed to be a division problem. if you need more help message me.

Two sides of a right triangle are equal to 3m and 4m. Find the length of the third side. (Two cases)
OLga [1]
If two sides of a right triangle are 3 and 4, that would make the third side = 5.

if the two given sides are both legs, the 3rd side (hypotenuse) would still = 5

if the two given sides are a leg and the hypotenuse then the third side = rad7

The perimeter of the triangle shown is 182 inches. Find the length of each side.
Lubov Fominskaja [6]

Answer:

5x=45, 7x+3=66, and 7x+8=71

Step-by-step explanation:

5x+7x+3+7x+8=182

Rearrange

5x+7x+7x+8+3=182

Add everything up

19x+11=182

Subtract 11 from both sides

19x=171

Divide both sides by 19

x=9

Plug x=9 into all spaces with x

5*9=45 , 7*9+3=66 , and 7*9+8=71

Voila!
