Fatima has a student loan the loan amount is 15,000 for 10 years her interest rate is 8.25% how much will Fatima pay in interest
DaniilM [7]

Answer:

8212.67

Step-by-step explanation:

From the data given in the question;

Amount = 15000

Principal = ?

rate = 8.25%

time = 10 years

From;

A =P(1 + r)^n

15000 = P(1 + 0.0825)^10

P= 15000/2.21

P= 6787.33

but

Interest = Amount - Principal

Interest = 15000 - 6787.33

interest = 8212.67

3x+12=7x-18 I need the individual steps
Galina-37 [17]

Step-by-step explanation:

*Whatever you do to one side of the equal sign you must do to the other!

  1. Move the (coefficients?) to one side of the equal sign

2. Get rid of the constant(Notice the negative sign beside the 18. This means you add to get to 0)

3. Separate the number from the variable by dividing because 4x= 4 times x. You must do the inverse operation to get rid of the 4. (Inverse of addition is subtraction, Inverse of subtraction is addition, Divisions multiplication and multiplications division)

Since 4 doesn't go into 30 evenly, I chose to keep it as an improper fraction. If you'd prefer mixed number: 7 2/30

Sorry if it's confusing! Hope I helped! :)

The equation 5x2 30x 15 = 0 is being rewritten in vertex form. fill in the missing step. given 5x2 30x 15 = 0 step 1 ✔ step 2 5(
lubasha [3.4K]

The missing step in making the equation in vertex form is option D which is

5(x^{2} +6x____)+15.

Given Equation 5x^{2} +30x+15=0

Parabola in vertex form. Equation is a relationship between two or more variables which is expressed in equal to form. It is solved to find the variables.

To express the equation of a parabola in vertex form we must complete squares. The equation is given as

5x^{2} +30x+15=0

The first step is to factor 5 and leave space to complete the third term in the parenthesis, along with a space outside it to compensate. This should look like

(5(x^{2} +6x............)+15..........=0

Those spaces need to be filled out like shown in the step 2. Thus the correct step is D.

Hence the correct step in vertex form is D which is

5(x^{2} +6x___-)+15____=0.
