Why do cells stay small

Ans: Cells are so small because it allows them to have a better surface area to volume ratio. This makes it much easier for the cell to bring in necessary nutreints and excrete wastes. Also the smaller the cell is, the less time it takes to replicate the small cell as opposed to a bigger cell.

For starters, plant cells have a tough Cell Wall made from cellulose, while animal cells only have the thin Cell Membrane. Also, plant cells have Plastids, while animal cells do not.
The primary organelle which is present in plant cells but not in animal cells, however, are the Chloroplasts, which allow plant cells to carry on the natural process of photosynthesis, by which plants make their own food using sunlight, water, and nutrients from the soil.

ATP is produced via 3 main ways. This being Glycolysis, Krebs Cycle and ETC or Electron Transport Chain. However Cynanide binds to something called the cytochrome C oxidase, which is part of the ETC, which means the ETC no longer produces the ATP required for the cell. Therefor your body can't produce the energy u need and you die.
