The provider must continue CPR until either a valid DNR order can be produced, or directed by medical control to discontinue. This is from a first responder point of view.

The unlicensed assistive personnel tells the nurse that it is unreasonable to expect a response to all call lights within 10 min
Evgen [1.6K]

Answer: A) "Let's discuss how we can meet our clients' needs."

Explanation:

Assertive behaviour is "Behavior that allows a person to act in his or her best interests, to stand up without undue anxiety and able to express his or her honest feeling comfortably.

This statement "A) Let's discuss how we can meet our clients' needs" is best suitable by the nurse as this statement justifies several characteristics of assertive behaviour including decision making in positive way, stay calm, honest communication, listen actively, and agree to disagree.

Other statement B, C, and D are not showing assertive behaviour as negative response ( statement "B"), panic ( statement "C"), and less problem-solving approach to conflict ( statement "D").

Hence, the correct option is A) "Let's discuss how we can meet our clients' needs."

How can you reduce your risk from ETS?
Nana76 [90]

One can reduce the risk of Environmental tobacco smoke(ETS) by visiting places that are smoke-free.

Environmental tobacco smoke (ETS), or second-hand smoke, is the air polluted by tobacco smoke.

ETS consists of mainstream smoke (smoke exhaled from the smoker's lungs) and side stream smoke (smoke from the lit end of a cigarette, pipe, or cigar).

Conventional smoke exhaled by the smoker has a lower concentration of carcinogens, nicotine and tar. For this reason, side-stream smoke is more dangerous than mainstream smoke. ETS from tobacco, cigars, and pipes contain over 4,000 chemical compounds.

Over 50 of these chemicals are carcinogens. Several studies have shown that infants exposed to ETS are more likely to develop asthma than their unexposed peers. Inhaling ETS poses a serious health hazard.

Health Risks for Non-smokers

Second-hand smoke kills about 3,000 people each year from lung cancer. ETS causes eye irritation, headaches, ear infections, and coughing in people of all ages. It aggravates asthma and other respiratory disorders and increases the risk of coronary artery disease.
