Okay so you would

Y=mx + b

M in this case is the slope (2x)
B is the y intercept (7)

So, y = 2x + 7

To solve for x
Subtract 7
-7 = 2x
Then divide by 2
x = -3.5

Y=7-2x, x belongs to the reals.

Which equation represents a line that is parallel to y=-4x+3 and that passes through the point (-1, 2)?
belka [17]
A parallel line will have the same slope, which is -4. So the answer so far cannot be A or B.
Put x=-1 in each of C and D and we get y=2 for C and y=1 for D. Since the point is (-1,2) the answer is C.

A Major League Baseball “diamond” is actually a square, 90 feet on a side. What is the distance directly from home plate to seco
Nonamiya [84]

Answer:

the answer is 180 feet

Step-by-step explanation:

because it is a square all sides are equal so the distance is between two lines so you only have to add two sides: (90+90=180).

The path a character takes to navigate a level of a video game is given in the following graph.
mylen [45]

The domain is the set of x values that has a corresponding y-values in a function or a graph.

The domain of the graph is: -10 \le x \le 10

From the graph (see attachment), we have the following observation

  • The value of x starts from -10 (represented by the horizontal line from (-10,4) to (-4,4))
  • The value x ends at 10 (represented by the slant line on the first quadrant)

These values can be represented as:

x_1= -10

x_2 = 10

So, the domain of x is: -10 \le x \le 10

A circle has a circumference of 34 54 cm. What is the area of the circle to the nearest whole centimeter? Use 3.14
inysia [295]

Answer:

<h2>9498.5 m</h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

We know that the Circumference = 3454 cm

And we also know that the formula for the Circumference of Circle is,

2\pi \times r

So we can put the equation this way,

3454 = 2\pi \times r

So we can solve for 'r'

3454 = 2 \times 3.14 \times r \\ 3454 = 6.28r \\ r   =   \frac{3454}{6.28}  \\ r = 550

Now we have radius and we can solve for the area of the circle,

\pi \times  {r}^{2}

3.14 \times 550 \times 550  \\  = 949850

We can convert this to meter,

9498.5 m

I am not sure if this is correct just let me know thanks :)
