Answer:

i think because for ideal administration. Minimal travel for the most state legislators. And, especially in the case of New York, but also in many other states - a very important factor: a location that would not suggest bias towards the state's largest city, and yet a location in a substantial enough town to hold its own.Explanation:

During the war years (1775-1783) because of its central location on the Hudson River, Albany was a useful supply center as well as a focal point for military planning. Albany native Philip Livingston was one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence.

What was the lesson of the first Battle of Bull Run for President Abraham Lincoln?
Sedaia [141]
A is the answer.  The first Bull Run was early in the war, and much of the North was convinced it would end quickly-people had even brought out chairs to watch the firefight.  However, their visions were soon shattered.
B is wrong: the South had plenty of troops, and even if it did not, Bull Run was no indication.
C is wrong: Bull Run was a failure for the North, so it would not indicate to Lincoln that the North was overstocked on troops.
Similarly, D is wrong: the war actually would take longer.

A popular pamphlet written by Thomas Paine calls for Americans to reclaim their natural rights.

Thomas Paine's pamphlet, Common Sense, argued Enlightenment ideas and encouraged colonists to separate from England.

Paine's pamphlet was spread through the colonies and argued for a split from England. Paine claimed the only way to gain access to the natural rights each person should have was by getting independence from England. The pamphlet was read by intellects and ordinary citizens bringing the Patriot movement together.
