Name: Tay

Question: Explain Atticus’s comment that “Every mob in every little Southern town is always made up of people you know—doesn’t say much for them, does it?

Answer: Atticus, therefore, bases his definition of a mob on one particular characteristic: "being made up of people." Therefore, Atticus is simply stating that only one thing universalizes a mob, it is simply a group of people. Atticus does this so as to calm the fears of his children, Jem and Scout

In a well-structured paragraph, describe a personal connection you have with a text of your choosing. Be sure to name the
qwelly [4]

Answer:

This question requires a personal answer. I will give you an example so that you can relate it to a story that you have read.

Explanation:

The text I choose is "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" by Stephen Chbosky.

I have had a special connection with this story since in many ways I resemble the protagonist. His name is Charlie, and he is a person who finds it difficult to make friends and has problems being in society since he is very shy and is usually afraid.

He has suffered traumas that prevent him from being more outgoing with his peers. I felt identified since many times fear also makes me be a shy person who sometimes prefers to "be invisible".

2). The priestess blessed the heir to the throne.

3). The princess had never seen a white peahen.

4). Mr. Chopra and his wife went to attend the marriage.

5). My nephew was riding a colt.

6). My sister is as cunning as a vixen.

6). Everyday the countess spends time with her mare in her pleasure garden.

Explanation:

Masculine, feminine, neuter and common gender are the four types of gender nouns. The use of gender nouns helps in distinguishing the gender of the subject being talked about in the sentence. The pronouns are used according to the gender of the nouns. In the above sentences, the gender of the underlines words was asked to change and rewrite accordingly. Along with the gender of the particular word, the pronoun used to denote them was also required to be changed. An agreement needs to be established between the noun and the pronoun to make the sentences grammatically correct.

He reacts in a purely emotional way.

In the excerpt from "The Death of Ivan Ilyich," Tolstoy makes reference to judge Peter Ivanovich's affecting bevahior at his Ivan Ilych's funeral.
