Should the US have intervened in the Russian Civil War?

History

Answer:

I believe that it should not have if they regarded their Monroe Doctrine which emphasized non-invovlement in European or global affaris unless it was attacked itself. This invovlement would have invalidated the agreement, and the surrounding American countries would then have an opprotunity to make power ploys. I do not know if htis is still prudent, but the threat of communism is itself a domestic threat, not relinquished in the global affaris as long as the national security remains more secure then the penetration force of such moves suggesting the Monroe Doctrine seemed more appropriate to follow then intervention.

Why were the Founders so specific about which powers Congress would and would not have?
alexandr402 [8]

Answer:

The main concern was how to strike the balance between the powers of the federal government and those of the states. Another major concern was that of representation. How the states and their populations were going to be represented in order to prevent neglecting the interests of smaller states? The Great Compromise was reached; a two-chamber Congress with a House of Representatives with members who would be elected according to the population size in states, and the Senate with equal representation for all states.
