Answer:

This model shows the mechanism of homeostasis  when the body temperature rises above the normal.

Explanation:

The steps by which body accomplishes cooling are as follows:

  • As the body temperature rises above the normal the sensory neurons perceive that and sends a signal to the hypothalamus.
  • Hypothalamus which is a bridge between the nervous system and the endocrine system, receives the signal and send s a signal to body.
  • The signal from the hypothalamus causes blood vessels to dilate and increases the circulation of blood near the surface so that more heat is lost.
  • It also increases the sweating which allows the body to produce cooling affect through evaporation.'
  • This continues till the body temperature falls to normal.

14. Operons allow prokaryotes to
Vladimir79 [104]
14: Operons allow prokaryotes to replicate DNA at the appropriate time.

Operons are specific regions of genes that are linked to a singular process. They ensure that the expression of these genes does not go unchecked and only occurs when necessary. Two key examples of this in humans are the lac operon and trp operon.

15. The central dogma of molecular biology is:

DNA to RNA to Proteins

Protein Synthesis occurs in 3 steps.

First our DNA is translated into RNA. Next the RNA is sequenced into Amino Acids by reading the corresponding 3-Base Codons. These Amino Acid sequences form various protein structures.

Select all the molecules that have stored potential energy and that can be used in aerobic respiration to generate atp.
Masteriza [31]

Carbohydrates, lipids, and protein have potential energy, and can be used in aerobic respiration to generate .

Carbohydrate- A carbohydrate is a naturally occurring substance or a derivative of one, made composed of molecules of carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen. The most prevalent organic compound is a carbohydrate, and all life depends on them.

Lipids- Fatty, waxy, or oily molecules are referred to as lipids. They are soluble in organic solvents but insoluble in polar solvents like water.

Protein- Large, intricate molecules known as proteins serve a variety of vital functions in the body. They are crucial for the construction, operation, and control of the body's tissues and organs and carry out the majority of their job inside cells.
