To understand better the central idea, let's first define Apartheid.
Apartheid
is the segregation of Whites and Black. Where Blacks, mainly in South Africa, are not given equal opportunity with the Whites.

The central idea, therefore, of her essay is the detrimental impact of racism on the social reality and relationships of the two races.

She exposed the bad human relationship, and how the Blacks were discriminated in terms of employment, education, and ownership of properties.

Kristen puts her sweater on a seat at the movie theater so no one will take it when she goes to get popcorn. This is an example
bija089 [108]

Answer:

This is an example of territorial marker, more specifically a central marker.

Explanation:

By definition, nonverbal is the communication that takes place without depending on words, written or spoken. It may happen through gestures, body language, looks, attitudes etc.

In the situation we are analyzing here, Kristen is using a nonverbal clue. Without saying a word to anybody, she is communicating that a certain seat is taken by her, and that she intends to return to it. That is an example of a territorial marker, more specifically a central marker.  A central marker is an item that is placed in a territory to reserve it for a specific person.

Why does the boy in Manuel Rojas's " The Glass of Milk" learn by the story's end?
Akimi4 [234]
The correct answer is C. There is no shame in needing help. The boy who was very very proud refused to ask for help, however, when he was near starvation, he finally did ask for help and was given a glass of milk. The girl who helped him asked nothing in return and showed that people can be good to other people, and that he should have simply asked for help, any good person would have helped him.
