What can we learn about ourselves as human beings by reading about the lives of others?

History

You know how we read the lives of other famous and important people? Yeah, if we didn't learn about their lives we would assume they just simply got successful. After reading about them you know all of the hardwork they've done and all the struggles they had to go through to get to where they are now.

We learn to shift our perspective by putting ourselves in the shoes of others.

We learn about who we are and who we want to be.

Talja [164]
The statement is "True".

The North Vietnamese government and the Viet Cong were battling to unify Vietnam. They saw the contention as a colonial war and a continuation of the 1st Indochina War against powers from France and later on the US. Starting in 1950, American military consultants touched base in what was then French Indochina.
