You have to find a common denominator 1st then add. So 16 is the common denominator the problem should be 2 7/16+1 14/16+8-16= 3 29/16 then you need to divide 29/16 you will have 4 13/16

Okay, well with the information given, you can not come to an answer. Is there something that shows all of the students who were in the survey?

Edit: Okay so there are 520 students in total.

We can say that the graph is equal to 520/520

However, we are trying to find how many of the 520 people voted for james. We know that James received 15% of the votes.

Now, we can find 15% of 520 by taking 15/100 times 520. The answer is 78.

Which expression does NOT equal 4/5?
4 x 1/5
2 + 2/5
1/5 + 1/5 + 1/5 + 1/5
2 x 2/5
amid [387]
4 x 1/5 is 4/5 so it is not that one. 1/5+1/5+1/5+1/5 equals 4/5 so it is not that one. 2 x 2/5 is 4/5 so it is not that one.

2+2/5 is 12/5 so this expression does not equal 4/5

Oksanka [162]
I^2 is negative 1, but I see you have a negative sign there. So it is -(-1), which is 1.
