Thanksgiving.

Explanation:

This custom/tradition is important to me because my family is very big and it gives us the time to be able to talk to each other and get together every year. Everyone cooks something and brings it to the feast and then we talk about everything that we're thankful for. I value this tradition because I love the fact that we all get together and are able to catch up on old times. Everyone's opinion matters and we are able to talk about  what were thankful for.
